The proposed non-urban narrative aims to revive the extinct Sanjhi art of the Braj region (periphery of Mathura city) by the help of reverse migrated population who have had ancestral business of Sanjhi art work in the rural areas namely, Gokul ,Goverdhan and Barsana :the villages holding the origin of Sanjhi art.  Addressing the reverse migration to flourish the art of the region by using the existing rural infrastructure like havelis (mansions or residences) and housing clusters, so that the heritage of the rural would also have an eye of conservationists for its reuse. The proposal also focuses on creating a strong chain of the art work where all three areas would play specific role of exhibiting, training and Promoting.
